September- October Updates!

Sorry it has been such a long time since the last post, we have been extremely busy! Here are just a couple of things that have been keeping us busy. The above picture is from my baby shower that my amazing friends threw for me. It was so much fun. All of the girls had a white onesie that they decorated and then I judged them. Everyone was so creative, and I came home with a bag of very cute onesies!

We painted our bright green toy room a tannish color so we could turn it into a nursery. Boston wanted to help us so here is what he contributed. He painted his name on the wall. He was really proud of himself.

Stephen had a two week rotation down in the Florida keys, and we went and spent a couple of days down there with him. It was lot's of fun, and so beautiful. I don't think you have ever seen a sunset till you see it down there, it was awesome!
We took the boys to the childrens museum on pizza night and they made chef hats and learned how to throw pizza dough in the air. It was lots of fun!

We took Boston to a Florida Marlins game. He loved it. He fell asleep for about an inning, but then woke up and kept on cheering. Lucky for me and Stephen it was free cowbell night!!! Boston played his cowbell nonstop for the next couple of days, till it dissapeared somewhere?!?
We found this baby duck stuck in the drain at our pool, so we pulled it out and took it over to a pond where there were a bunch of other baby ducks. I hope he was adopted! Boston was really brave and helped hold the duck till we got it to the pond.

Preschool!

Monday was Boston's first day of preschool. He was so excited! He wasn't scared at all, and didn't want to come home when the three hours was up. He loves his teacher Miss Mary, and already has a new best friend named Kaden. He goes five days a week, and has to be there at 8:00 a.m. so it is quite an adjustment in our house.
He picked out his own outfit for his first day, I was pretty impressed, I thought for sure he would pick out his new pirate t-shirt, but he picked this cute green polo. Green is his favorite color.
Charlie didn't adjust quite as well to Boston going to school. This is a picture of him as we were pulling out of the school. He cried and kept calling for Boston. It was so sad, he is going to miss his brother every morning.
That night we went out to dinner to commemorate the first day of school. We went to Pei Wei, which is one of our favorite places to eat. The boys had so much fun!

Crazy Summer!

Sorry I haven't updated for such a long time, we have had a crazy month! We started out the month with our air conditioner quitting on us. For those of you who don't live in Florida, just imagine your house sitting at about 87 degrees with the florida humidity as well. It has been pretty miserable. We have tried to have it fixed multiple times, but have been having lots of problems, and on top of that our landlord is out of the country and we can't do a whole lot since we don't own the place. So because of the horrible heat, the boys and I have been in Idaho for the past 9 days. We have been enjoying time with family, and enjoying the cool Idaho nights. Poor Stephen had to stay behind to deal with work and school. He is a trooper! So other then the AC and our trip to Idaho, Stephen has been working really hard in the clinic and getting a lot of his requirements for graduation done. He is such a hard worker. He has also been working three nights a week at the airport so that we can have these flight benefits. I have been working on crafts, crafts, and more crafts. Since we have a baby girl on the way we have been making bows, scrapbooks, wall hangings, and my mom is working on a really cute quilt. It has been really fun to switch gears and make girly things. Boston is starting preschool in a couple of weeks and is real excited about it. He can't wait to make new friends and "ride the bus" even though I have told him numerous times the bus is going to be mom's car. Charlie is finally starting to talk a little bit more, and is developing quite the personality. He loves his older brother and copies everything that he does. He is really going to miss him when he goes to school! Baby Lyla, is busy chillin and growing. She is only 17 weeks away from meeting her brothers and is developing great! She loves her brother Boston's voice and kicks and kicks whenever he puts his hand on my belly! Hopefully I will have time to do a really good blog with pictures of the kids soon, but first things first, I have to get this stupid air conditioner fixed!

It's a girl!

It's official, we had our ultrasound this morning and it is a girl! We are so excited! Now we can finally start buying pink! She is measuring right on for 20 weeks, and everything looks great. She is a really wiggly thing and we couldn't get a good picture of her face cause she kept putting her hands in front of it. She must be shy! We will keep you all updated!

Sorry!

Our computer is dying, so I have been spending nearly every minute of my computer time saving all of our documents and pictures to discs. We took it in to the computer guys and they told us to back up everything cause when it dies it all will be gone, so that is what I have been doing lately. That is also why I don't have time to put pics or give a really good update. I am afraid that doing too much is going to push the old thing over it's limit. It really is amazing though how much I rely on my files to be my brain. This computer holds all my address lists, and relief society information. I also hadn't saved any pictures to discs since the summer of 2007, so it has been quite the task. So, until we get a new computer in a few weeks, I must apologize, I don't know when the next good post will be.

I heard Dairy Queen was hiring!

So, only my family will really get this post. Mom found this picture the other day, and I had to put it on the blog. I just want to point out that the cake says happy birtday, not happy birthday. Also, this cake was made by Trisha! Looks like she is a shoe-in for a job at Dairy Queen.

Miscellaneous March!

Here comes the longest post ever. I was going to split this up into a few different posts, but decided if I didn't put it all on right now I wouldn't do it. So here you go...here is our month of March in review!

This is of me and Boston on our date to Disney on Ice. We had such a fun time just the two of us. And no it isn't the picture, my face really is that red I got sunburned earlier that day.

This is during Lion King. This was during the stampede scene. It was so cool to see the skaters they are so talented.

Here is the Finale. They had all this confetti fall from the sky and tons of skaters all over. Boston had a blast! He is such a good date!

We decided we would go to the seaquarium as a family one saturday. We love the Seaquarium! Here is Boston with the big shark.

Charlie and Stephen looking in one of the big aquariums.

When it was raining really hard a couple of weeks ago, Boston kept asking me to go out and play. I told him to talk to his dad, and this is what happened. He ended up in rain boots, shorts, and his umbrella. He had a blast!

Charlie turned two on March 2nd. I can't believe how big he is getting. We were able to spend his birthday in Idaho with his cousins. He had such a fun time.

Here he is opening some of his presents. We love this boy so much, he is so much fun and such a loving little guy! I can't believe he is already 2 years old!
